Background to the Conference
全球数字经济加速重构产业生态,会展行业面临数字化转型与跨区域协同的新机遇。为探索数字技术赋能会展产业升级、推动国际产学研深度融合,上海大学、萨里大学、澳门城市大学与国际会展学会联合发起本次峰会,搭建全球智慧共享平台,助力构建开放、创新、可持续的会展学术产业合作新平台。
The global digital economy is driving the transformation of industrial ecology, presenting novel opportunities for the event industry to undergo digital transformation and cross-regional synergy. In order to explore how digital technology can empower the upgrading of the event industry and promote the in-depth integration of international industry, academia and research, Shanghai University, the University of Surrey, City University of Macau and International Association for Events Studies(IAES) have jointly initiated this event. The objective of the event is to build a global wisdom-sharing platform and help build a new platform for open, innovative and sustainable academic and industrial cooperation in the event industry.

Types of Submissions
Abstracts: Abstracts of completed paper, extended abstract or proposed research in any of the topic areas listed or related areas. The abstract for proposed research should include the research objectives, proposed methodology, and a discussion of expected outcomes. It should not have more than 600 words.
Full Research Papers: Completed research papers in any of the topic areas listed above or related areas. This is a completed research work or project): A total of 8 pages for a paper (including all figures, tables, and references.
Work-in-Progress (Reports or Proposals for Future Research): Incomplete research or ideas for future research in order to generate discussion and feedback in any of the topic areas listed above, or related areas. A total of 8 pages for a work-in-progress reports or proposals for future research including all figures, tables, and references.
Note: One regular registration is within TEN Pages. Extra pages will be charged.
Reviewing Process
All manuscripts will be subjected to blind peer-reviewing and are expected to meet the scientific criteria of novelty and academic excellence.
The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that the article’s publication has been approved by all other co-authors and takes responsibility for the paper during submission and peer review.
Review comments will be communicated to you and you may require to do necessary revisions and send revised paper on or before prescribed day.
Plagiarism Policy
The content of any submissions should be original and must not be submitted simultaneously for consideration towards publication in any other conference or journal. Reuse of material previously published by the authors is possible under the conditions that the authors fully disclose (cite) the reference and clearly highlight the innovative contribution of the ICECDCD2025 submission and the significance of this contribution.
Publication
Each submission will be reviewed by 2-3 reviewers, and the accepted papers after registration will be published in the ICECDCD2025 Conference Proceedings, which will be indexed by Ei Compendex and Scopus.
